Born in the Province of Quebec, Canada, Christian Bergeron is an artist with close to fifty years experience. His works are shown in the most beautiful private and corporate art collections in Canada, USA and Europe.
Among corporate collectors are: Gaz Metropolitain, Pratt & Whitney, Canam Manac, Donohue, the Laurentian Bank, Royal Trust, The Jim Patterson Group (Vancouver), Le Manoir Richelieu, Fort Gary and Les Caisses Desjardins. From a very young age, Christian demonstrated an aptitude for figurative art. An Autodidact, he has been building his own style, learning from the great master-painters in Quebec, such as Francesco Iacurto, of whom he was a student and a model. In the past ten years, he has been developing and perfecting a modern (prismatic) style of his own. Known for the mastery of the spatula, his only tool, and for his bright colors and contrasts, he became an associate member of the Copley Society of Art in Boston in 2007 where he exhibits his works regularily.
Christian Bergeron is everything but the half measure. He opens his own galleries where he works and shows, side by side, traditional scenes, seascapes, spectacular back lights as well as more contemporary, even abstract, works. Christian Bergeron is an artist in constant evolution inspired by his many travels around the world, who masters the nuances and visual compositions around him like no other.
